Tioga County Sports ReportALFRED — Newark Valley grad Taylor Benjamin finished up a strong junior season at Alfred State averaging nearly a double-double.
Benjamin averaged 12.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in 23 games. She also averaged 2.4 assists and 2 steals per game.
Benjamin had eight double-doubles on the season, including a 20-point, 17-rebound effort against Carlow.
She had a season-high 23 points against Pitt-Greensburg, and a season-high of 19 rebounds in a game against Hilbert.
For her career, Benjamin is averaging 12.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in 67 games.
