TIOGA COUNTY — The New York State Division 2 Wrestling Championships take center stage today, while the Section IV Girls Bowling State Qualifier is at the Valley Bowling Center, and the Section IV boys hoop playoffs continue.

WRESTLING
New York State Division 2 Championships, 10 a.m. @ MVP Arena, Albany:
Newark Valley seniors Trevor Middendorf and Austin DeBolt, and Owego senior Bobby Struble, and sophomore Dylan Brace will all be in action Friday.

Struble is the only one making his second appearance at States.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Section IV Playoffs
Class C Quarterfinals
6-Candor (15-5) at 3-Trumansburg (14-6), 6 p.m.:
The Coyotes are coming off a 61-46 win over B-G Tuesday, while the Blue Raiders topped Richfield Springs-ODY, 84-42.

Class A Quarterfinals
5-Owego (13-7) at 4-Oneonta, 6 p.m.:
The River Hawks closed the regular season with a 64-53 win over Lansing 10 days ago, while the YellowJackets topped Windsor, 58-54, on Feb. 11.

GIRLS BOWLING
Section IV State Qualifier, 9 a.m. @ Valley Bowling Center:
The Candor and Newark Valley girls will compete for a team berth in the Division 2 state tournament.
