Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — Postseason boys bowling and boys swimming takes center stage Saturday.
BOYS BOWLING
Owego at Section IV, Class B Championships, 9 a.m. @ Midway Lanes, Vestal: Owego will face stiff competition from Maine-Endwell, Vestal, and UV-Norwich.
Newark Valley at Section IV, Class C Championships, 9 a.m. @ Midway Lanes, Vestal: Newark Valley will face stiff competition against STAC champion Waverly, and IAC Large School champ Union Springs / Port Byron, as well as Watkins Glen and Susquehanna Valley.
Candor at Section IV, Class D Championships, 9 a.m. @ Midway Lanes, Vestal: The Candor boys should be in the mix for a Class D title Saturday with Hancock, Bainbridge-Guilford, Afton, and Tioga all vying for team gold.
BOYS SWIMMING
Section IV, Class C Championships, 4 p.m. @ Maine-Endwell H.S.: Owego has a number of competitors in action Saturday, led by junior Magavin Allen, and freshman Eric Schrader.
