IAC BOWLING: JACKSON PACES CANDOR BOYS IN SWEEP OF GROTON; LADY COYOTES ALSO WIN VIA SWEEP (2025-02-04)

GROTON — Malcom Jackson rolled a career-best series to lead the Candor boys to a sweep of Groton Tuesday, while the Lady Coyotes also pulled off a sweep in IAC Small School bowling action.

BOYS
Candor 4, Groton 0

Jackson's 156 in his first game was no indication of things to come as he finished his day with games of 233 and 246 for a career-high 635.

Candor won the first game 909-720, then followed it up with wins of 872-667 and 871-826 for a total-pinfall win of 2,652 to 2,213.

Tyler Dunham rolled a 586, including a 222, in the win, while Kody Floyd had a 526, Stanley Winnick added a 462, and William Sizer tacked on a 443.

Mike Brehm led Groton with a 559.

GIRLS
Candor 4, Groton 0

Kaitlyn Floyd and Calli Marsh led the Coyotes in a sweep of Groton.

Floyd rolled a 524 series, and Marsh shot a 514, while Kaydee Jackson had a 450.

Candor won the first game 723-636, then followed it up with wins of 772-677 and 747-630 for a total-pinfall win of 2,242 to 1,943.

Jennarose Reagan had a 391 for the Coyotes, while Raina Schneider-Kern added a 336, and Zoe Travis tacked on a 330.

Candor returns to action Thursday when it hosts Newark Valley.
