STAC BOWLING: O'HARA LEADS TRIO OF 600 SERIES IN OWEGO BOYS' SWEEP OF CHENANGO VALLEY (2025-01-14)

OWEGO — Evan O'Hara was one of three Owego boys to roll 600 series in a 5-0 sweep of Chenango Valley here Tuesday in STAC bowling action at the Owego Bowl, while the Lady River Hawks dropped a 4-1 decision.

BOYS
Owego 5, Chenango Valley 0

The River Hawks won each game by at least 83 pins for a total-pinfall win of 3,120 to 2,712.

Owego won the first game 1,024-885, and followed it up with wins of 1,089-903, and 1,007-924.

O'Hara banged out a 689 series on games of 222, 245, and 222 to lead Owego, while Grayson Quick shot a 673 series on games of 255, 220, and 198, and Connor Kotski rolled a 633 on games of 220, 213, and 200.

Devan Card added a 589 series, including games of 216 and 200, for the River Hawks, and Grayden Stanton had a 536.

Nate Adams led CV with a 671 series, and Austin Greenman shot a 637.

GIRLS
Chenango Valley 4, Owego 1

Chenango Valley won the first game 651-606, and the second game 743-667 for a total-pinfall win of 2,063 to 1,953. The River Hawks salvaged the third game by a count of 680-669.

Elizabeth Reigle led the River Hawks with a 518 series, including a 233 in the third game, while Izzy Coveney shot a 462, and Elaina Anschutz added a 458.

JV Boys
Owego 5, Chenango Valley 0

The River Hawks won total pinfall of 2,246 to 1,838.

Cam McGowan led Owego with a 487 series, and Cam Farrell added a 443.

Owego returns to action Jan. 22 when it hosts Chenango Forks.
