STAC BOWLING: O'HARA, QUICK PACE OWEGO BOYS IN SWEEP OF FORKS; LADY RIVER HAWKS ALSO WIN BY SWEEP (2025-01-08)

BINGHAMTON — Evan O'Hara and Grayson Quick rolled 600 series to lead the Owego boys to a sweep of Chenango Forks here Wednesday afternoon, while the Lady River Hawks also posted a sweep in STAC blowing action.

BOYS
Owego 5, Chenango Forks 0

O'Hara rolled a 675 series on games of 257, 246, and 172, and Quick shot a 659 on games of 167, 235, and 257 to lead the River Hawks to a 5-0 win.

Owego won the first game 956-849, then followed it up with wins of 1,052-745, and 1,026-847 for a two-point total-pinfall win of 3,034 to 2,441.

Grayden Stanton shot a 579 for Owego, including a 227 in the second game, while Connor Kotski added a 566, including a 203 in the third game, and Devan Card tacked on a 555.

Landon Butenko led Forks with a 704 series.

GIRLS
Owego 5, Chenango Forks 0

Elizabeth Reigle shot a 506 series to lead Owego to a 5-0 win.

Owego won the first game 751-606, then followed it up withs on 651-474, and 723, 420 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,125 to 1,500.

Elaina Anschutz rolled a 471 for the River Hawks, while Izzy Coveney had a 431, Issy Taylor added a 384, and Maddie Kinney tacked on a 333.

Mackenzie Royneer led Forks with a 357 series.

JV BOYS
Nate Dwyer rolled a 491 to lead Owego, while Cam Farrell shot a 441 and Cam McGough added a 431 in a sweep in the junior varsity boys match.
