BOYS BASKETBALL
S-VE (0-5 overall, 0-4 IAC Small) at Candor (5-3, 2-2), 6 p.m. JV start: The Coyotes are coming off a 65-38 win over Marathon, while the Panthers dropped a 94-24 decision to state-ranked Union Springs.
Notre Dame (3-3, 3-1) at Newark Valley (2-4, 0-4 IAC Large), 5:30 p.m. JV start: The Cardinals are coming off a 76-28 loss to Lansing, while the Crusaders topped Watkins Glen, 65-34.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Candor (5-1) at S-VE (1-5), 6 p.m. (Varsity only): The Coyotes are coming off a 51-43 win over Marathon, while the Panthers have been off since a 55-13 loss to Watkins Glen Dec. 29.
Candor has won five in a row.
Newark Valley (6-3) at Notre Dame (5-3), 5:30 p.m. JV start: The Cardinals are coming off a 48-30 loss to Lansing, while the Crusaders topped Ithaca, 49-42, Dec. 30.
