Tioga County Sports ReportOWEGO — Jacob Bensley earned low-medal honors to lead Owego to a 183-188 win over Windsor in a STAC boys golf match shortened to seven holes due to darkness here on a rainy Wednesday at the Golf Club at Owego.
Bensley fired a 35, while Duke Snyder shot a 36, Wyatt Prentiss and Mason Grippen each shot rounds of 37, and Ryan Denton added a 38.
Hunter Woods tacked on a non-scoring round of 43 for the River Hawks.
Jack Wheaton and Carmine Dozeratz each shot 37 to pace Windsor.
Owego returns to action Thursday against Waverly at The Club at Shepard Hills.
