Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — With just one day of practice, the Owego boys golf team will get the fall sports season going when it visits Susquehanna Valley for a STAC match Tuesday afternoon.
The season opener will be held at the Conklin Players Club. The River Hawks defeated the Sabers, 245-265, in last year.
Owego will also compete in the annual Nick DiNunzio Memorial Tournament Thursday at En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott. The team placed eighth in a field of 15 STAC teams in the 2023 tourney.
