
The former Spencer-Van Etten/Candor standout batted .276 (21-for-76) with 18 runs and 10 RBI. He walked 12 times, was hit by pitches on three occasions and stole nine bases.
His top performance came against Corning CC, hitting .462 (6-for-13) with six runs and five RBI as the Panthers won three of four meetings in a three-day span.
Sayre, a pitcher/outfielder, also made seven appearances on the mound, including three starts, with an 0-1 record.
He was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association All-Academic Second Team.
