MARATHON — Candor’s Lindsey Morse recorded a pair of runner-up showings to lead the Coyotes’ effort at the Spring Fling Track & Field Invitational Wednesday.
Morse recorded a time of 17.43 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles and leapt 15-5 in the long jump.
In the boys meet, Parker Robinson finished third in the 400 with a time of 55.49 seconds.
Legends of the Night
Morse bolted to victory in the 100 hurdles, recording a time of 17.38 seconds.
IAC divisional meet
Morse won the 100 hurdles in 17.9 seconds and took second in the 200, clocking 30.1 seconds.
Ayasha Schweiger won the 400 hurdles in 1:18.6.
Emma Haynes was the runner-up in the 800 at 2:48.
Kody Goble captured a win for the boys with a heave of 37-3 in the shot put.
