Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — Four more teams begin the spring season as two baseball teams and two softball teams play their opening games.
BASEBALL
Dryden (0-1) at Spencer-Van Etten/Candor, 4:30 p.m.: The Purple Lions lost their season opener to Schuyler Thursday.
Newark Valley at Moravia, 4:30 p.m.: The Cardinals were supposed to play Whitney Point last week, but there is no record of a game being played.
SOFTBALL
Dryden (0-1) at Spencer-Van Etten/Candor, 4:30 p.m.: The Purple Lions fell to Watkins Glen in their season opener.
Newark Valley at Moravia, 4:30 p.m.: It's the first game for both teams.
