WATKINS GLEN — The Watkins Glen High School girls soccer team remained unbeaten with a 3-1 victory over Newark Valley in IAC action Tuesday evening.
Skye Honrath recorded a hat trick for the Lake Hawks as they improved to 9-0 on the season.
Honrath's first goal came at 35:44 of the first half on a cross from Ava Kelly. The next occurred during the final minute of the first half on a penalty kick. Her hat trick came at 39:19 of the second half Olivia VanSkiver picking up the assist.
The Cardinals scored their lone goal on a penalty kick at the 32:28 mark.
NV heads to Elmira Notre Dame Friday.
