SPENCER — S-VE set the stage for its upcoming IAC Small School volleyball showdown against rival Candor with a 3-0 victory over Moravia Monday evening.

The Panthers won by scores of 25-10, 25-18 and 25-8 to improve to 7-0 in division play (7-1 overall).

CC Churey recorded 16 service points, to include nine aces, and had two kills and three digs. Jackie Brown contributed 10 points (3 aces), a kill, three digs and one assist; Faith Brenchley added eight points (5 aces), five digs, five assists and a kill; and Lilyanah Doolittle tacked on eight points (4 aces) and two digs.

Aryonnah Disbrow had three points (1 ace) and one dig; Kaili Root had a point, Makana Diboun chipped in with two digs; Cheylee Campbell had a kill; Adriena Farmer added two aces and two kills; Lauren Gillette had a kill and two blocks; Hannah Smith had a point, a kill and a dig; and Summer Taylor registered two points (1 ace), two kills and one dig.

S-VE visits Candor (6-1) Wednesday.

JV: The Panthers won, 25-10 and 25-13 to improve to 6-1 in league play and 6-2 overall. Moravia took the exhibition third game, 25-20.

Trinity Dashler scored 10 points (7 aces), and had four kills and an assist; Reece Hickey had an ace and a kill; Amani Diboun added two kills and two digs; Kelci Wright scored a point; Andralyn Wallace pitched in with 11 points (7 aces), a kill and three digs.

Eighmee Slusser had seven points (3 aces), two kills and a dig; Vivienne Secondo registered one kill; Emma Neish added six points (4 aces) and one kill; and Kelsea Swayze had 11 points (7 aces), a dig and eight assists.
