
VERONA — Candor’s Taylor Brock is in a four-way tie for 16th place after the first day of the PGA Central New York Section Junior Tour Championship Tuesday at Kaluhyat at Turning Stone.
Brock posted a 17-over-par 89 and is tied with Vestal’s Justin Alvord, Kaeden Hacker of Cicero-North Syracuse and Evan Cooper from Athens, Pennsylvania.
Chris Stilwell from Whitesboro and Mitchell Archer of Jamesville-DeWitt, who were in Brock’s foursome, are sitting in first and second place, respectively, after carding 73 and 74.
Brock will tee off at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday with Alvord, Cooper and Sean Noon of Utica Notre Dame. Noon is one stroke behind his playing partners.
