Today and Monday sees Candor’s Jacob Banks make a return to the boys golf state championships at Mark Twain Golf Course in Elmira while SVEC’s Lauren Gillette makes her debut at the girls state tournament at the Edison Club in Rexford.
Four Tioga County athletes head to Middletown High School for the Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday and Saturday.
Owego’s Taylor Dalton (long jump), Stella Palladino (100) and Gabe Snyder (pole vault) compete on Friday, and Candor’s Kara Morse (high jump) sees action Saturday.
