TIOGA COUNTY — The state bowling championships, and boys and girls basketball state quarterfinals are in the spotlight this week.

BOWLING
SVEC’s Janelle Marsh will compete in the Girls Composite Bowling state championship tournament at AMF Strike-N-Spare Lanes in Syracuse. The balls roll at 9 a.m.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Owego takes on Section III champion Westhill in the Class B state quarterfinals at Onondaga Community College’s SRC Arena. Tip-off is 4:30 p.m.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Newark Valley faces Section III champ Cortland in the Class B state quarterfinals at Onondaga Community College’s SRC Arena. Tip-off is 2:45 p.m.
