Tioga County Sports ReportOWEGO — Owego senior Rachael Wood has capped her high school tennis career with a STAC divisional honor.
The Indians’ first singles player the past three seasons has been named a Central Division all-star.
“Rachael played against tough opponents all season, and won a few big matches during the regular season,” Owego coach Erica Haray said. “She really excelled in the postseason, winning third at Class B sectionals, winning the B3 vs. C/D3 playoff match, and playing at the NYS Qualifier.”
