TIOGA COUNTY — The week begins with a busy schedule as there are nine events on the docket.

BASEBALL
SVEC (2-10) at Newark Valley (6-6), 5 p.m.: The Eagles are coming off a loss while NV’s last game was suspended in the ninth inning due to darkness.

Owego (7-6) at Seton Catholic (0-8), 5 p.m.: The Indians are coming off a win over Chenango Forks while the Saints lost to Norwich last time out.

GIRLS GOLF
SVEC at Corning, 3:45 p.m.: The Eagles join Elmira, Waverly and the host team in a quadrangular at Corning Country Club.

GIRLS LACROSSE
Owego (7-5) at Whitney Point (10-1), 4:30 p.m.: The Indians, winners of two straight, visit Section IV’s 4th-ranked team. The Golden Eagles sit behind a trio of Class A teams.

SOFTBALL
Candor (4-6) at Watkins Glen (0-10), 4:30 p.m.: The Indians, whose losses have come to the top four teams in the IAC, have won three consecutive games.

Odessa-Montour (0-7) at Newark Valley (3-12), 5 p.m.:

Owego (9-6) at Seton Catholic, 5 p.m.:

S-VE (12-2) at Tioga (10-1), 4:30 p.m.: The Panthers need a win to keep their hopes of an IAC South Small School title alive. The Tigers won their previous meeting, 7-1.

TENNIS
Boys: Norwich at Owego, 5 p.m.: The Indians are coming off a doubleheader win against Windsor.

Coed: Elmira Notre Dame at Newark Valley, 4:30 p.m.: The Cardinals haven’t played in 11 days due to postponements.
