TIOGA COUNTY — There are seven events on Friday's schedule — six involving local basketball teams.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Dryden (5-5) at Newark Valley (2-6), 7:30 p.m.: The Purple Lions have struggled outside of their division and NV will be looking to pull off the upset in an IAC crossover clash.

Moravia (5-0) at Candor (8-2), 7:30 p.m.: The Blue Devils come into this IAC crossover game ranked 14th among the state's Class C teams.

Seton Catholic (7-0, 4-0 STAC B) at Owego (4-5, 3-1 STAC B), 7:15 p.m.: The Indians will have their work cut out as they host the second-ranked Class B team in the state.

BOYS SWIMMING & DIVING
Windsor (2-2) at Owego (0-3), 5:30 p.m.: The Indians continue to seek their first win against an opponent with a much larger roster.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Newark Valley (9-1) at Dryden (5-4), 7:15 p.m.: The Cardinals, ranked No. 1 in the state in Class C, are coming off a victory over a scrappy Waverly team. The Purple Lions nipped Trumansburg Wednesday.

Candor (1-5) at Moravia (5-2), 7:30 p.m.: The Indians picked up their first win of the season Tuesday. It's the Blue Devils' first game of 2022.

Owego (3-5) at Seton Catholic (2-2), 7:15 p.m.: The Indians are coming off a loss to Chenango Forks while the Saints are coming off a loss to Chenango Valley.
