Tioga County Sports ReportBUFFALO — Newark Valley grad and Canisius College rising junior Marissa Silba was named to a pair of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic teams during the 2020-21 school year.
Silba was selected to the 2020 MAAC Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team in the fall and the 2021 MAAC Women's Track & Field All-Academic Team for the spring season.


To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2.
Silba is a Sport and Exercise Health Care major.
