OWEGO — Jack Rollison had Owego's lone hit as the Indians fell to defending Section IV Class AA champion Corning, 20-0, here Friday.

The defending Section IV Class AA champion Hawks, ranked eighth in the state in the MaxPreps Computer Rankings, received a strong performance by Division I prospect Aidan Chamberlin. He struck out 13 batters over 4 2/3 innings, and posted three hits, three runs and two RBI at the plate.

Corning scored three runs in the top of the first, then blew the game wide open with 10 more runs in the second.

After scoring single runs in the third and fourth innings, the Hawks erupted for eight more in the fifth.

Corning finished with 17 hits and also took advantage of nine Owego errors.

Dan Hursh contributed a double, single and three RBI for the visitors and Landen Burch and Trent Hackett added two hits each.

Burch also fanned five of the seven batters he faced in 2 1/3 innings of relief.
