Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — Sports finally return to Tioga County as the Candor, Newark Valley and Owego bowling teams, and the Owego boys swimming / diving squad open the season.
It's important to note that spectators will not be allowed into any events at this time.
Here's a look at the week ahead.
MONDAY
The Owego bowlers open the season against Norwich at Owego Bowl with a 4:30 p.m. start time.
TUESDAY
Newark Valley hosts Candor in bowling, however, each team will compete at its home alley and scores will be compared. Candor is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. and NV at 4 p.m.
WEDNESDAY
Owego takes to the road to bowl against Chenango Forks with a 4:30 p.m. start time.
THURSDAY
The Candor bowlers host Elmira Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. and the NV squad hosts Odessa-Montour at 4 p.m.
FRIDAY
The Owego boys open their swimming and diving season at home against Chenango Forks, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
