
OWEGO — Brandon Lavo sand Jacob Krassin were double winners, but Owego came up short against unbeaten M-E, 97-77, in STAC action here Friday.
Lavo grabbed individual victories in the 100-yard freestyle, posting a time of 54.85 seconds, and the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.42.
Krassin touched the wall first in the 100 backstroke, clocking 1:29.5. He also teamed with Gabe Snyder, Austin Tompkins and Tyler Krom to win the 400 free relay with a time of 4:28.11.
Joe Criscitello contributed a win in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:09.3.
Tompkins would add a runner-up showing in the 100 back. Adam Gault and Kyle Riegel took second in the 200 free and 100 breaststroke, respectively. The 200 free relay of Gault, Criscitello, Dominick Mahonski and Lavo was also second.
Placing third for the Indians were Mahonski in the 200 free, Criscitello in the 200 individual medley, Gault in the 50 free, Christian Hodges in the 100 back and 100 breast, the 200 medley relay of Gault, Lavo, Mahonski and Criscitello, and the 200 free relay of Snyder, Riegel, Hodges and Cayden Antalek.
The Spartans improved to 4-0 with the win.
Owego (0-4) hosts Norwich (0-4) Tuesday.
