Tioga County Sports ReportOWEGO — Owego chalked up another sweep, defeating U-E, 3-0, in STAC action here Tuesday evening.
The Indians won by scores of 25-23, 25-13 and 25-15 to improve to 9-1 on the season.
Mackenzie Struble and Camryn Kopalek posted double-doubles to lead the way.
Struble handed out 13 assists and had 11 kills to go with five aces, a block and a dig; and Kopalek contributed 12 digs and 10 assists, as well as three kills.
Sara Zepkowski chipped in with nine kills, four blocks and five digs; Annika Kinney had 18 digs and two assists; and Emma Howe added 13 digs, three kills, a block and an ace; and Taylor Aubel had seven kills and six digs.
Bianca DeVita pitched in with six digs, an ace and an assist; Harlea Russell had two digs, an ace and a kill; Haleigh Whatley had three blocks; and Macey Gibson and Mia Puglisi added a dig and a block, respectively.
Owego heads to Vestal Thursday.
