
OWEGO — Three players scored multiple goals as Owego rolled to an 11-0 Senior Night triumph over Binghamton here Tuesday evening.
Carmen Jorgensen found the back of the net four times, Jade Fenton recorded a hat trick and Allee Schumacher added a pair of goals.
The Indians wasted very little time lighting up the scoreboard as Fenton hit the back of the net just 33 seconds into the game. Angie Hammond provided the assist.
Owego would tack on three more goals before the half. Jorgensen tallied at 35:48 with Schumacher picking up the assist. Fenton and Jorgensen would score unassisted at 31:56 and 27:19, respectively, to push the lead to 4-0 at the break.
Jorgensen put in another unassisted goal at 37:32 of the second half, then assisted on a Fenton goal 56 seconds later to push the advantage to 6-0.
Quinn Miller scored at 34:17 with Fenton getting the assist, then Jorgensen scored her final goal, unassisted, at 30:44.
Schumacher tallied the next two goals, at 30:17 and 26:43, with Lily Morton assisting on the first.
Angie Hammond put in the final goal of the game at 22:54 with Erin McDonald assisting.
"Tonight was our senior recognition night so this was a great memorable last home game for our seniors," said Owego head coach Heather Chrysler. "We have been working hard on playing as one unit and building from the backfield, and tonight we executed the transition from defense to offense well."
The Indians outshot Binghamton, 18-2, and held a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.
