Tioga County Sports ReportENDICOTT — Owego (Beyer) racked up a pair of impressive wins at the U-E 12U Tournament over the weekend.
On Saturday, Owego defeated U-E (Fellows), 17-5, in four innings in C division play. Sunday brought a five-inning triumph, this one 12-2 over Binghamton.

Leading 5-0, Owego sent 16 batters to the plate in the fourth inning.
Matthew Lewis, Jamie Harrison and Devin Card scored two runs apiece in the onslaught. Sam Sherwood belted a two-run triple and Zach Hammond drove in a pair of runs with a base hit.
Owego scored twice in the first and three more in the second.
Owego finished with 12 hits on the day.
Hammond was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs and three RBI; and Harrison went 2-for-2 with three runs and two RBI; Parker Jenkins went 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI; and Noah Christ went 2-for-3 with two runs to highlight the effort.
Adam Llewellyn had a hit, run and RBI; Sherwood contributed a triple, run and two RBI; Jack Buchsbaum scored a run; Lewis chipped in with a hit and three runs; Card scored twice; and Sam Beyer added a hit.
Beyer threw 3 1/3 innings, allowing just one hit while striking out eight and walking four. Buchsbaum pitched to the final three batters with one strikeout and one walk.

Owego scored the first eight runs in this one.
Down, 2-0, Christ, Llewellyn, Sherwood and Jenkins all scored following a walk, single, walk and single, respectively. Matthew Lewis reached on a fielder's choice and score to make it 5-0 after an inning.
Christ and Llewellyn added runs in the second, and Harrison tripled and scored in the third to push the advantage to 8-0.
Sherwood and Jenkins scored in the fourth, and Lewis and Harrison tacked on the final runs in the fifth.
Owego had nine hits in the game.
Harrison went 2-for-3 with a triple, double and two runs; Sherwood was 2-for-2 with two runs; Jenkins went 2-for-3 with two runs; and Christ, Llewellyn and Lewis had one hit and two runs apiece.
Sherwood struck out nine over four innings, giving up just one hit and a trio of walks. Hammond fanned all three batters in the fifth.
