Tioga County Sports ReportOWEGO — Evan O’Hara and Grayson Quick rolled 600 series to lead the Owego boys to a 4-1 victory over Windsor in STAC boys bowling action at Owego Bowl Monday. The Owego girl dropped a 5-0 decision to the Black Knights.
BOYS
Owego 4, Windsor 1
O’Hara was the top kegler with a 698 series which included games of 268 and 248. Quick broke 200 in all three games — 210, 246, 202 — to finish with a 658.
Connor Kotski shot 225-573 and Ari Lemmon added a 223-510. Scott Reigle tacked on a 157-434.
Windsor took the opening game, 866-850, but the River Hawks regrouped to win the second, 1105-849 and the third, 918-824. That gave them the total pinfall, 2873-2539.
The Knights were led by Sawyer Beeman with 201 and 200 games and a 595 series.
GIRLS
Windsor 5, Owego 0
Aubriana Tyler was on fire for the Knights with a 613 series which was highlighted by games of 222 and 214.
Windsor won by scores of 840-473, 809-494 and 848-464, and won the total pinfall, 2497-1431.
Owego was missing Elaina Anschutz and was paced by Sophiarose Winters with a 118-323. Madison Kinney contributed a 108-311, Emma Nixon had a 101-275, Americus Booker added a 102-261 and Shatha Alotaibi had a 97-261.
The River Hawks host Waverly on Wednesday.
