Tioga County Sports ReportOWEGO — The Candor boys bowling team split with Edison on Senior Night at Owego Bowl on Thursday despite competing short-handed. Meanwhile, the girls team picked up an uncontested victory.
BOYS
Candor 2, Edison 2
The Coyotes won the opening game, 679-658, and the third, 751-727, with a 4-man lineup. Edison won the second game, 658-601, adn the difference was enough to give the Spartan the total pinfall, 2043-2031.
Malcolm Jackson led Candor with a 602 series which included games of 243 and 215. Stanley Winnick rolled a 167-482, Conner Kellogg shot 162-480 and Riley Bauer added a 179-467.
Hunter Buchanan had a 191-500 for Edison.
GIRLS
Candor 4, Edison 0
The Coyotes posted games of 790, 773 and 694 to finish with a 2257 total pinfall.
Callie Marsh set the pace, opening with a 202 en route to a 554 series.
Zoe Travis contributed a pair of 166 games and had a 448 series. Allison Johnston scored a 176-462, Kyrsten Jackson added a 158-406, Makenna Nixon had a 161-378 and Raina Schneider-Kern tacked on a 121-345.
Teresa Kern registered a 158-396 in exhibition.
