Tioga County Sports ReportVESTAL — Owego split a STAC bowling match with Susquehanna Valley at Midway Lanes here Wednesday, the boys posting a 4-1 victory and the girls falling, 5-0.
BOYS
Owego 4, Sus Valley 1
Evan O’Hara posted another impressive performance, rolling a 764 series which included a high game of 266. He also had a 259 and a 239.
Connor Kotski was hot on the lanes as well, shooting games of 236, 232 and 224 for a 692 series. Grayson Quick surpassed 600 as well, his 665 series highlighted by a 245 and a 236.
Scott Reigle contributed a 181-499, Nick Youles rolled two games with a high game of 190 and Ari Lemmon shot a 157.
The River Hawks dropped the opening game, 1053-1005, but won the next two 1009-974 and 1093-942, and took the total pinfall, 3107-2969.
Anthony Stoeti led the Sabers with a 245-672 and Colson Steen added a 217-607.
GIRLS
Sus Valley 5, Owego 0
Sus Valley won by scores of 759-507, 678-558 and 662-531, and took the total pinfall, 2099-1596.
Allicyn Basaha led the Sabers with a 203-545.
Alaina Anschutz paced Owego with a 173-452, Madison Kinney rolled a 127-351, Shatha Alotaibi had a 96-273, Americus Booker added a 94-268 and Sophiarose Winters tacked on a 104-252.
JV BOYS
Sus Valley 5, Owego 0
The Sabers swept with scores of 844-614, 791-682 and 741-692, and won the total pinfall, 2376-1988.
Trustyn Gee led SV with a 199-549.
Owego was led by Logan Rosenberger’s 146-404 while Cameron McGowan added a 153-400.
John Lillie had a 148-397 and Coeburn Locke tacked on a 125-361.
Cam Capellie had a high game of 170 and Logan Vizina had a 107.
Owego hosts Windsor on Monday.
