Tioga County Sports ReportNEWARK VALLEY — The Newark Valley bowling teams split with Odessa-Montour Wednesday, the girls winning, 4-0, and the boys losing, 4-0, in IAC action at Cardinal Lanes here.
BOYS
The Grizzlies won by scores of 755-711, 753-682 and 784-667 and won the total pinfall, 2292-2060.
O-M’s Ryan McCann led a fairly balanced attack, rolling a 174-499.
Devon Green paced the Cardinals with a 188-517, Kalb Jackson shot 170-401 and Mason Peck rolled a 159-399.
William Simmons added a 148-392, John Slaughter scored a 125-351 and Reese Illsley added a 116-266.
GIRLS
NV cruised to victory as the Grizzlies had just one bowler.
Rachel Hartman was the top bowler of the day with a 191-545 while Brook Illsley posted a high game of 215 and finished with a 469 series. Abigal Dufresne registered a 162-440, MaeAnna Jackson had a 119-334, Abigail DeBolt contributed a 112-316 and Stormi Wiley added a 93-251.
Abby Grady posted a 128-355 for O-M.
