STAC BOWLING: OWEGO'S KOTSKI BANGS OUT 700 SERIES IN SWEEP OF FORKS; OWEGO GIRLS SWEPT IN TIGHTLY-CONTESTED MATCH (2026-01-12)

BINGHAMTON — Connor Kotski and Evan O'Hara banged out monster series to lead Owego to a sweep of Chenango Forks in STAC Central Division boys bowling action, while the Lady River Hawks lost 5-0 in a very tightly-contested match here Monday afternoon.

Owego 5, Chenango Forks 0

Kotski rolled a 713 series on games of 203, 278 and 232, and O'Hara shot a 690 series on games of 227, 247, and 216 to lead the River Hawks to a 5-0 win over Forks.

Owego won the first game 950-841, then followed it up with wins of 941-835 and 949-850 for a total-pinfall win of 2,840 to 2,526.

Grayson Quick shot a 558 for Owego, while Ari Lemmon added a 481, and Nick Youells tacked on a 398.

Landon Batenko led Forks with a 679, and Aidan Robinson had a 479.

Chenango Forks 5, Owego 0

The Blue Devils won the first two games by a combined four pins in a sweep of Owego.

Chenango Forks won the first game 501-500 and the second game 565-562, before finishing off the sweep with a 523-500 win for a total-pinfall win of 1,589 to 1,562.

Elaina Anshultz led Owego with a 464 series.
