Tioga County Sports ReportWINDSOR — Senior Rodney Vaow was Spencer-VanEtten/Candor's only grappler to make it through to Day 2 of the 68th annual Windsor Christmas Wrestling Tournament, and posted an 0-2 record to finish eighth in his bracket.
Vaow, who was 2-1 in the 132-pound bracket on Monday, opened with a wild, 14-7, loss to Oxford-Greene's Kade Mustin in the "blood round."
In the seventh-place match, Vaow dropped a hard-fought, 10-7, decision to Blue Ridge's Brice Woodruff.
SVEC returns to action Wednesday with a dual against Dryden.
