Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The holiday tournament is upon us, with the Owego boys playing in the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament at the Arena, while the SVEC girls and Owego and Newark Valley boys are wrestling at tournaments.
The Candor boys and girls, and Owego girls basketball teams will play at the Athens Holiday Tournament, which was moved to Monday and Tuesday.

BOYS WRESTLING
Owego, Newark Valley at Spc Kenneth Haines Memorial Tournament, 8 a.m. @ SUNY Oswego: The River Hawks and Cardinals will be joined by 25 other teams at the Haines Memorial, with the large majority coming from Section III.
GIRLS WRESTLING
SVEC at Frosty Freestyle Festival, 9 a.m. @ Midlakes H.S.: The Eagles are on of 24 teams competing at the Frosty Freestyle, including Waverly, Horseheads, Corning, and Elmira from Section IV, and a host of teams from Sections V and VI.
