Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — Girls swimming, volleyball, cross country, and football take center stage as the calendar flips to November and the fall season winds to a close.
There are six events on this week's docket, including three on Saturday.

WEDNESDAY (1)
• The Owego girls will compete at the Section IV, Class B preliminaries at Maine-Endwell H.S.
THURSDAY (2)
• All six Tioga County schools will have runners at the Section IV Cross-Country Championships at Chenango Valley State Park.
• Candor hosts the Section IV, Class C semi-final pool play, which also includes S-VE. The top two will advance to Sunday's Class C title match.
FRIDAY (0)
There are no events scheduled.
SATURDAY (3)
• Owego football is on the road at Maine-Endwell for the semifinals of the Section IV, Class B playoffs.
• Owego will compete in the Section IV, Class B Girls Swimming & Diving Championships.
• Owego squares off with M-E in the Section IV, Class A volleyball finals at Tioga Central H.S.
