Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — Owego will the Section IV volleyball playoffs in the Class A championship game next week, while Candor will host Class D pool play next Thursday.
CLASS A
Top-seeded Maine-Endwell (10-3) and second-seeded Owego (14-3) are the only two Class A teams in the bracket, and will square off Saturday, Nov. 8 at Tioga at 6:30 p.m. for a trip to the New York State Championships.
CLASS D
Candor (14-1) hosts second-seeded Newfield (10-3), third-seed Oxford (7-6), and S-VE (8-6) Thursday at 3:30 in round-robin pool play.
The top two teams in pool play advance to the Class D finals at Tioga on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 4 p.m.
