Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — There's just one game on Monday's docket, but it's for all the marbles — the STAC volleyball title — as Owego travels to Ithaca.

STAC Championship Match
Owego (14-2) at Ithaca (11-1), 6 p.m.: The Central Division River Hawks swept Metro champ Maine-Endwell in one semi-final matchup, while West Champion Little Red swept Oneonta in the other semi-final match.
Owego has won 18 STAC championships, and is 18-4 in league title matches. Its last loss was in 2018.
The River Hawks have won the last two STAC titles, beating Corning in five sets last year, and sweeping Windsor in 2023.
Owego won seven consecutive STAC titles from 2011 through 2017.
Ithaca lost its last trip to the STAC finals, falling in five sets to Vestal in 2022. Its last STAC title was in 2000.
