OWEGO — Central Division champion Owego kept rolling along here Thursday night with a sweep of divisional rival Seton Catholic in STAC volleyball action.
The River Hawks, now 13-1 overall and 12-1 in divisional play, won by scores of 25-8, 25-15, and 25-9.
Senior Maggie Hamed registered 15 kills, four service aces, and four digs, and senior Bella Miller had 14 setter assists, six aces, four kills, and four digs to lead the River Hawks, while senior Natalie Morris had seven digs, three kills, and two aces, and senior Evelyn Howe had five aces, four kills, two blocks, and three digs.
Senior Keely Wicklund had 10 assists and two kills in the win, while junior Alyssa Harrington added four kills, and senior Peyton Coolbaugh chipped in with four digs.
Owego wraps up the regular season next Thursday when it hosts Windsor.
