MORAVIA — S-VE rolled to a sweep of Moravia here Wednesday night in IAC Small School volleyball action.
The Panthers, now 8-4, won by scores of 25-18, 25-10, and 25-10.
Madison Ashby led S-VE with 23 service points, including 10 aces, and two kills, while Kelsea Swayze had 10 points (four aces), seven digs, and 20 setter assists, and Andy Wallace had eight points (three aces) and three digs.
Lauren Gillette added seven points (three aces) 15 kills and one block in the win, and Amani Diboun had five points (two aces), and 13 digs.
Trinity Dashler had two kills, one block and three digs for the Panthers, while Elaina Middlebrook registered three kills and three digs, and Emma Neish chipped in with two digs.
S-VE returns to action Friday when it hosts Newfield.
JV — S-VE 2, Moravia 0: The junior Panthers won the junior varsity match by scores of 25-13 and 25-15. S-VE also won an exhibition set, 25-20.
Kylee Stahl led S-VE, now 9-3, with 13 points, including six aces, five kills, and one block, while Caitlyn O'Connor-Lay had 10 points (five aces) and two digs, Riley Koch had six points (six aces), five assists, and two digs, and Lillie Horyczun had two points, three kills and 11 assists.
Hannah Rose had four points and three digs in the win, while Zoey Barton had three points and five digs, Madison Emery recorded four points, Devorah Lou registered three kills and three digs, Veronica Stone had two kills and three digs, and Leah Neish chipped in with two points and five kills.
