GROTON — Candor sophomore Zoey Lang and S-VE junior Madelyn Ellison ran to top-10 finishes here Tuesday to lead the Tioga County contingent at the IAC Small School Divisional cross country meet.
Lang placed fifth in a time of 22:13.6 to earn first-team All-IAC Small School all-star honors, while Ellis was ninth in 23:15.2 to earn second-team all-star honors.
S-VE senior Grace Bishop (28:44.3) and junior Sofae Cook (28:55.3) finished 25th and 26th, respectively, and Candor senior Calli Marsh was 27th in 29:19.0.

S-VE 8th-grader Tristan Jennings led the Tioga County boys contingent Tuesday, finishing 26th.
Freshman Declan Shaw was Candor's lone runner in the field, and finished 29th.
Senior Kenric Beach and 8th-grader Caleb Paucke finished 31st and 32nd, respectively, while junior William Horycsun, sophomores Anthony Wintermute and Kaiden Shock, and senior Alex Overhiser were 41st through 44th, respectively.
