Tioga County Sports ReportBINGHAMTON — Zoey Lang was the top competitor for Candor at the 57th Annual McDaniel-Baxter Cross Country Invitational held at Chenango Valley High School here Saturday.
The sophomore placed 14th in a field of 89 varsity girls, posting a time of 18:56. Senior teammate Calli Marsh finished 77th with a time of 25:50.
The Coyotes had two boys competing also. Senior Gage Maxwell came in 49th, clocking 16:39, and freshman Declan Shaw was 68th with a 17:32.
Candor heads to Stonehedges Golf Course in Groton on Tuesday for a multi-team meet.
