IAC VOLLEYBALL: S-VE SWEEPS UNION SPRINGS (2025-09-30)

UNION SPRINGS — S-VE notched its second sweep in as many nights — this time against Union Springs — here Tuesday night in IAC crossover volleyball action to improve to 7-2 on the season.

The Panthers won by scores of 25-15, 25-16, and 25-19.

Andy Wallace led S-VE with 12 service points, including two aces, four kills and six digs, while Trinity Dashler had nine points (two aces), seven kills and four digs, and Madison Ashby had seven points (three aces), three kills, and six digs.

Amani Diboun had six points (two aces) and 18 digs in the win, while Lauren Gillette registered six points and four kills, and Kelsea Swayze has four points (two aces), five digs, and 17 setter assists.

S-VE returns to action Saturday at the Horseheads Tournament.

JV: S-VE 2, Union Springs 1: S-VE, now 8-1, notched a 2-1 win over Union Springs in the junior varsity match, winning the first and third sets by identical scores of 25-16, while the Wolves won the second set, 25-21.

Molly Rice led S-VE with seven points (four aces) and five digs, while Lillie Horyczun had seven points (three aces) and seven assists, Caitlyn O'Connor-Lay had seven points (two aces), two kills and two digs, and Riley Kock tallied six points (four aces).

Kylee Stahl had four points and eight kills in the win, while Leah Neish had four points (two aces) and three digs, Zoey Barton had five points and four digs, Devorah Lou added three digs, and Madison Emery chipped in with two digs.
