Tioga County Sports ReportONEONTA — Owego grad Lexi Cheeseman, a freshman on the Hartwick College field hockey team, scored her first collegiate goal Saturday in the Hawks' 4-0 win over Houghton College.
Cheeseman's milestone goal came late in the second quarter to put Hartwick up 4-0.
Cheeseman has played in four of Hartwick's five games. She has taken three shots, and all three have been on-target.
Hartwick returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Union College.
