Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — It's another busy week in Tioga County, highlighted by three football games and the Owego Night Cross Country Invitational, which was a big hit last year, on Friday.
There are 35 events on the docket this week, including 10 on Tuesday and nine on Thursday.
The following are all of the home varsity events this week, and a few of the notable road events:

• Owego hosts divisional girls soccer rival Seton Catholic.

• Candor hosts S-VE in a key IAC South Small School Division match.
• SVEC hosts Newark Valley in an IAC South Large School Division soccer match.
• Newark Valley hosts Trumansburg in an IAC crossover volleyball match.
• Newark Valley field hockey hosts Marathon.
• The Owego golf team hosts Seton Catholic.
• S-VE hosts a six-team cross country meet.

• Candor hosts Groton in an IAC crossover volleyball match.
