Tioga County Sports ReportDALLAS, Pa. — Owego grad Ashleigh Steele, a freshman on the Misericorida field hockey team, started in her first three collegiate games.
Steele averaged nearly 34 minutes per game in her three starts, including a full 60 minutes in a loss to Ithaca College — Misericorida's third game of the season.
Steel took six shots, including four on-target shots, in the first three games.
She came off the bench Friday to p]lay 32 minutes and took two shots.
In all, Steele has taken eight shots, including four on-target. She has played 133 minutes, an average of 33.3 minutes per game.
Misericordia, now 3-1, plays at SUNY Cortland Saturday.
