Tioga County Sports ReportCANDOR — Kyle Jantz scored two goals and dished out one assist to lead SVEC to a 5-2 win over Thomas A. Edison here Wednesday afternoon in IAC South Large School Division boys soccer action.
The Eagles led 3-2 at the half.
Nate Morse, Deegan McKeon and Gavin Bates added goals for SVEC, and Taylor Vanderpoel had one assist.
SVEC had a 12-4 advantage in shots-on-goal, and a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.
Blake Difasi had one goal and one assist for the Spartans, and Oliver Riffle also scored one goal.
Sirron Irvin recorded two saves in net for the Eagles.
SVEC, now 3-0, returns to action Friday at Notre Dame.
