Tioga County Sports ReportPITTSFORD, N.Y. — Owego grad Jace Stuart, a junior on the St. John Fisher men's cross country team, shattered his personal-best time to finish fifth in the 6K race at the St. John Fisher Rodenbeck Invitational.
Stuart clocked in at 19:38.8 — 24.3 seconds faster than his previous best — in the 135-runner field.
St. John Fisher finished sixth in the 10-team field.
The Cardinals return to action Sept. 13 at the Hamilton Invitational at Hamilton College.
