Tioga County Sports ReportHOUGHTON, N.Y. — Newark Valley junior Kate Breghorn, a midfield, played 60 minutes in both of Houghton College's season-opening wins here over the weekend.
Breghorn, who had two goals in eight games as a freshman and one assist in 10 games as a sophomore, helped Houghton College to a season-opening 3-0 win over Lancaster Bible College on Friday, and a 3-2 win over Neumann University on Saturday.
Houghton College returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Lycoming College.
