OWEGO - Sam Beyer, Owego Free Academy's top singles player, finished the 2025 spring season in great form, earning the junior tennis standout a spot on the Southern Tier Athletic Conference Spring All-Stars, Central All-Division team.

Beyer entered this year's Section IV Class B Tournament unseeded, before going on to finish in third place.

OFA'S Beyer went 3-1 in the sectional tournament, while defeating Vestal's Malik Khan in three sets to advance himself to the New York State Qualifier Tournament.

Beyer would go on to lose a hard fought, three-set battle at state quals the next week to finish off an impressive late season run.

Sam Beyer's play was stellar enough to earn a selection to the Central All-Division team for singles on this season's 2025 STAC Spring All-Stars.
