SPENCER-VAN ETTEN/CANDOR - SVEC softball capped off their 2025 campaign with a birth in the Section IV Class B playoffs, led by six Eagles that landed IAC South Large School All-Star selections.

The Eagles earned an impressive five spots on the IAC South Large School first team. Three seniors, including Faith Brenchley, Ryleigh Bowman and Katelyn Klym were chosen.

Junior, Jillian Holmes and sophomore, Emma Neish rounded out the list of SVEC first team IAC all-stars.

Elliana Middlebrook, an eighth grader who the Eagles turned to on the mound midway through the season, landed a second team IAC South Large School selection.

SVEC softball finished their year, 6-11 with a late season push to qualify for the sectional playoffs.
